About Us

Decades of experience in TFT model R&D

The ever-increasing applications of large area electronics in commercial electronic products has drawn significant attention to thin-film transistors (TFT) and related technologies. TFTs on silicon, oxide and organic thin film technologies are becoming increasingly common. Besides applications in flat panel displays and imagers, new application areas are emerging, in which TFTs are used as analog and digital circuit elements for signal processing.

With the emergence of new applications and the quest for systems-on-a-chip (SoC) integrating about 40,000 devices on flexible substrates, it is increasingly more critical for circuit designers to use compact device models that can accurately predict static behaviors, as well as radio frequency, and noise characteristics of TFT circuits and systems. Furthermore, TFT compact model must accurately represent specific process technologies with emerging materials. For efficient and effective compact model generation, the CAM-XT solution offers strategies to generate a modeling database from real devices as well as from numerical simulation tools. Its models are reliable and physically-based for expedient parameter extraction and circuit simulation that accurately and reliably predicts system behavior.
